Samsung Note 3 blue led notification light always ON (even when phone is switched OFF)

[Android Central Question]

Guys, experiencing a weird issue on my phone since yday.. It's a Samsung Note 3...There is a blue LED notification light that is continuously ON since yday morning ... It's not turning Off... There are no unread notifications... It stays ON even after I switch off the phone... The only time it turns off is when I remove the battery... Any help??

Welcome to Android Central! Is your battery life still normal, or does it seem to be draining unusually fast? Or is the battery getting unusually warm?

Thanks for the reply and the welcome. Battery seems to be ok. doesn't get heated much. drains a little early as compared to when it was new.

My Note 2 had a similar problem before dying a few weeks ago. In its case it was the red LED. Some water got in, probably via the headphone jack during rain, and shorted something. It had that symptom for about s year before it finally died.
