Android Central Question

Does the flip cover for note 3 require a certain amount of memory to operate? Its going on and off and i have tried taking the cover on and on and restarting phone. I am running out of memory and it worked when i deleted some files.

Welcome to Android Central! No, memory doesn't have anything to do with it. Flip covers generally work by using a small embedded magnet in the edge of the cover that triggers a sensor in the phone's bezel. If the magnet is near that sensor, it causes the screen to go to sleep, and if you take the magnet away (i.e., open the cover), it causes the screen to wake.

If you fold the cover behind the phone, sometimes the magnet is too strong and can trigger the sensor. Does the problem happen even when the flip cover is open but not folded behind the phone?
