Samsung note 3

Hello, what can I do and I have a samsung note 3 and I have problems with the YouTube application, it says I will update it all the time, but it won't let me uninstall and install it, but it works, it still says it says, I update what I can do in this case !!

The Note 3 is VERY out of date and won't support a new enough version of the YouTube app. You either need to install a more up to date 3rd-party ROM (not suggested as the effort won't get you a new enough version to last a while) or update to a newer device.

I agree with hallux it is a very outdated device that will lose more and more app support.
But try clearing its data then force stop it , this will reset the app

See, here's the "sticky" part. That device only received official OS updates to Android 5.0, which I believe is no longer supported in Google Play Services. However, if you look at the YouTube app on the Play Store it does not list a minimum Android version - it just says "varies with device". I guess it COULD be argued that the app should still be supported on that OS version, but the OS is not supported by Google anymore.

I still stand by my previous post that even with the latest official OS update for that device (Android 5.0) it's still too old. Oh, and Android 5 is now 7 years old. It also stands to reason that even if that device is NOT yet on Android 5.0 the update servers likely aren't providing that update to that device anymore.

I don't see why people still use these devices , there not secure anymore,carriers are going away with 2g/3g and apps not going be supported on its Andriod . I mean you can get something very current like carrier version phones for 200.00 running latest Andriod.

Welcome to Android Central! One possible workaround is to try accessing the YouTube website in the browser.
