Samsung Note 5 - MS OneNote Not Working Properly

I just started using MS OneNote (latest update). I love the the app but there are certain areas where I can't start writing. But if I start on an area where I can write and drag all the way to the "dead" area, it works. I tried other apps, but it works fine (same area as where OneNote is "dead"). So my conclusion is that it only happens on OneNote. Is there a fix to this?

I don't have this issue anywhere on the screen on my verizon Note 5 using OneNote so I am of absolutely no help.

I have no idea why it's only happening on OneNote.
I tried reinstalling it.
