I'd MUCH rather have Quick Charge than have a fully compliant USB C phone.

Losing your USB-C charger with a Nexus 6P has been much like losing your phone altogether. Props to Benson for taking the time to review so many chargers, but Google has done an awful job informing its customers about the dangers of using a non-compliant charger. I shouldn't have to look at a Google Sheets page to determine whether I can use a charger.

At least with Samsung, I know that Best Buy will carry a USB-C charger that works with the Note 7. With my Nexus 6P, finding a compliant charger in stores that doesn't violate the standard has actually been impossible.

The weird thing is that so far, the only phone I know that has QC 3.0 but also works with Power Delivery and the USB-C goodies like VESA DP is the LG G5.

I'm not sure if the Note7 will be the same.
