How do I rearrange my photos sequence when photos are taken on different dates. Renaming only works for photos taken on the same date.

It depends on what you're sorting by, but you might be happier with Google Photos. It shows the same pictures, but you have more choice of how they're displayed.

Gallery folders won't sort alphabetically any more. It's only adding new folders to the bottom of the app. Regardless of what I name a new folder.....there's no option for sorting in settings any longer. Anyone know of a way to do this elsewhere?

Ugh. And there are no view settings either--the list of albums is just a series of big, blobby squares.
