Samsung Notes Compatible with Pixel?

Does samsung notes work on non samsung devices? I ask because all my iPhone notes transferred over to my S21 with smart switch. I would like to continue to use samsung notes when I get my pixel 5 this month.

It's only available on Samsung Devices. However, you can transfer your notes to OneNote, which is compatible across OSs. Bear in mind, however, that the imported versions into OneNote are not editable, so you only get a snapshot of what's already in the note.

Do the notes transfer over when you switch over to a pixel from samsung? I was reading ways to export them all as a pdf which I guess is a solution.

You CAN export each note into a PDF or JPEG, yes (and that would be the most universal of solutions, if not the most cumbersome and basic, as it has to be done manually and for each note). If you connect Samsung Notes to OneNote, however, the 'export' is done automatically (but, just like with a JPEG or PDF, the notes in OneNote are not editable). If you use Samsung Notes on a Windows PC, your notes will be transferred as they would to any other Samsung phone (and can still be edited). Just MAKE SURE your notes are being saved to your Samsung Account!

OneNote integration, by the way, can be done regardless of whether you use Samsung Notes on another phone or PC; all notes in the account will be accessible through OneNote as well if the account is connected.
