Question Samsung notes

Hi, I'm using the "Screen off memo" feature within Samsung Notes on my

tablet. (SAMSUNG S9 x-616)

Until about a week ago, unless I tapped the "Save" button, the memo would remain on the screen off memo interface, even if I turned on the screen and opened apps.

In the past week, every time I turn on the screen, the screen-off memo gets saved automatically and disappears from the screen-off interface. I tried disabling auto-save in the

Samsung Notes settings, but it didn't change anything. How can I restore the previous

behavior, so that the memo does not save automatically and stays on the screen-off interface until I tap "Save"?

Only way to do that is to revert back to a version where the change isn't present (but that will likely get auto-updated at some point and may cause notes to not be backed up properly as outdated app versions can lose access to cloud features).
