Looking at it... I'd say that it's plastic. First, getting tempered glass protectors for curved screen phones is a major pain... second, look at the notches on the corners. The only purpose I can see for those would be to allow it to wrap around the screen without buckling or bulging as you applied it.

Samsung's site has been flakey, sometimes when I go to the site and look at accessories the Note 7 stuff is there and sometimes it's not.
