Samsung Pay Favorite Card Disappearing

So, I always used Samsung pay on my Note 8 and I could quickly access my favorite cards by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. I could do this when the screen was off, from the lock screen or from my home screen, that little Samsung Pay "tab" at the bottom of the screen was always there.

One of the first things I did with my s10 plus was set up Samsung Pay and I quickly noticed that the tab at the bottom of my home screen disappears. I have favorite cards turned on and I can swipe up from the lock screen or when the screen is turned off but not from the home screen.

Any others experienced this?

Are you using something other than the stock launcher? I have the stock one with full gestures and I have to swipe up twice from home screen for it to come up.

Yep, I do. It's annoying.

I am using Nova just like I used it on my Note 8, and everything worked fine then.

Same problem here with me. Using Nova. I've called Samsung and sent emails but have gotten no response or callbacks. Really frustrating as I've had the same experience and setup as the OP.

Sounds like a Nova problem from what I'm reading not Samsung.

I can't tell from your post and assume that you have the proper settings enabled.

Yea, I have all the correct settings. Funny thing is, I can toggle the favorite cards in Samsung Pay and the tab will appear on the home screen for a bit, then is disappears.

Sounds like a Nova compatibly issue.

It's been stated previously from nova that's is an issue with all third party launchers and its Samsungs problem to fix. Whether it's the one ui or Samsung pay itself.

If it works with the stock launcher I can't imagine how would it be Samsung's problem to fix. Samsung has no obligation that I'm aware to make their UI compatible with 3rd party launchers. I would be very surprised that Samsung made that commitment.
When there were issues with other phones after a system change, Nova took steps to correct the issues not the other way around.

Update:
Just tested it with Apex, Action and Evie launchers and it works, so the information about it being an issue with all 3rd party launchers is false.

Just FYI... While it may not be with "all" third party launchers, it certainly is not just NOVA. I use Microsoft and Total Launcher - both of which broke after my Note 8's upgraded from Android 8 to 9. You can go into Samsung Pay and disable all three screens in the settings, reboot your phone, then enable all three and it will suddenly work again - but only for a short time. I have not yet been able to determine what the exact trigger is that causes the favorite cards tab to disappear... Not being able to swipe my cards up and use them on a moments notice is enough for me to switch to Google's solution, so yeah - I'm thinking the only people with incentive to fix this would be Samsung, since they are the ones losing business... but you're right, I also have no delusions they will address it.

Just curious are you using this gestures for Samsung pay ? I circled it

Yup, I came here searching when it disappeared on my s10e after installing Nova launcher. But Mustang's suggestion got me to take a look at my Nova launcher gestures and assign two finger swipe up to Samsung Pay. It doesn't automatically go to the card as in Favorite Cards but in some ways it's better as I've had accidental favorite card swipes previously. Thanks Mustang!
