Samsung Pay glitch after Pie update

Not a huge thing but has anyone tried using Samsung Pay with the phone off? You can set it so all you have to do is slide up on the screen to activate Samsung Pay. Just tried that and it would get me to my cards but then it just seemed to freeze. It would not register my fingerprint. When I tried my pin, it would momentarily unlock then stop.

When I push the power button and then swipe up, it works as normal from there. Just weird that it freezes when I swipe up with the phone off.

No problem here...use Samsung pay everyday...iam in India unlocked Note 9

I had it happen the very first time I used it but then I closed and cleared cache and hasn't happened again

I usually press the power button then swipe up. Just used it yesterday at the vending machine at work. Used the fingerprint sensor.

I haven't had luck getting SP with just swiping up on any OS. I figured it was me.
