Forgot all about the $30. gift card deal with Samsung Pay first use on S7 and was wondering if it's still available?

Could I use samsung pay with a gift card to get the gift card? Like buy a best buy gift card, add it to samsung pay. Then use samsung pay with BB gift card. Will I get the reward? My bank currently won't use SP

I don't know if that would work. I think they want you to add a card and use it (hence them trying to entice us to use it) .

Using a gift card will not make you eligible for the promo. You will need to add a supported bank card and actually use it once.

OK, How do you get the card? Do they email it to you or does it just pop up on your phone right away?

It shows up in your Samsung Pay wallet.

You can claim the card in the Samsung pay wallet or use the code they send via email. They are all electronic codes. Not actual cards. I got 2 $30 ebay codes (me and my wifes phone) and was easy.
Link a card to samsung pay, use it even for something that costs $1 at a store and you'll get the notice to claim a gift card of your choice right after the transaction goes through.

You get an email notification as soon as your transaction is posted. I went to a local store bought something for 99c and used Samsung Pay and voila....good luck.

I used Samsung Pay for a purchase (Walgreen) and never received a notification offering the $30 gift card. I did get the wireless charger when I registered the card.

I have endlessly tried to get the gift card with 2 different cards and nothing happens after I make the purchase. Both are Wells Fargo credit cards. Is it worth calling Samsung since this deal ends tomorrow, or is that a waste a time and they won't manually get me a gift card?

Hm weird. It should just pop up right away .. I am not sure if Samsung will issue it manually. They should but.. Companies sadly don't always do what they should.

Yeah I did it at Walgreens, never popped up so I have been trying since and still nothing between the two cards I have loaded on there. Thanks though
