...again. Now only 3 points per transaction. You only have to get 20 transactions to maintain platinum level, but geez. It will take forever to accumulate enough points to be meaningful for shopping on Samsung.com

Yup I quit using Samsung Pay because of this last year with the Note8. Used to get at least a $20 gift card every couple weeks now it's every couple months. No thanks.

Yeah I just use it for the convenience but the point system is a joke now. They don't even even have the option for gift cards anymore. Just a bunch of useless stuff or the nice stuff is a crazy amount of points.

I agree that the incentives are a joke now, but is that the only reason you all used it? I didn't really care much for the points to start off with - I just like not having to use my physical card when I didn't need to, and it works so much better for me than Google Pay.

Pretty much, yeah. I'll use it on my S3 Frontier at a vending machine if I do not have my wallet on me other than that I'll just use my credit card.

Yeah, as others have pointed to, the points are pretty much useless now. The gift card option was great. I don't even want to do the math to calculate how many times a day you'd actually have to use it to even take advantage of the limited options now.
