Samsung rolling out bug fix software update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Samsung has started rolling out release PE9, mentioned in the link above, to both the the Global models of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, G930F & G935F. First to receive it are the unbranded and lightly carrier branded, Brazilian Product codes.

"It changed the icon location cycle to improve the screen clarity when Always On Display is used. Apart from this, the update fixes the occasional cover recognition issue and also the video playback flickering issue that appears after the recording.

The update further addresses an issue where the power saving could not be disabled when Google Now is running and you will no longer face problems saving files to the SD card."

No mention of battery fixes is not a good sign. Though there was no mention of it in the update where they broke it either.
