Samsung S5 90% full

I am not very tech savvy
I got my friend used from a friend it is 90% full ......what can I do without screwing it up???

I am not sure I understood your question. What is full, exactly? The storage space where you keep pictures and stuff? The partition where the user apps are stored? (Or maybe the one with the system apps?)

Well, that would erase all installed apps. It might be what is needed, but I wouldn't know until I understand what the problem is.
