Samsung S5 battery percentage stuck at 100%

The past week the battery percentage icon has been stuck at 100%. The battery still progressively goes down throughout the day as normal, I just never know what percentage it is at. It isn't draining any faster than normal or anything. It does die, because I have no clue when the battery is low. When I plug it in to charge it after it dies it instantly says it is at 99%. Is there anyone else having this issue after the Lollipop update or know of anything i can try to fix it? Yes, I have rebooted it and tried taking the battery out.

Hello. There was a similar thread yesterday, but I don't know if the Moto E had Lollipop, or if it's available.

Hai you tried the GSam app and seen if it shows the correct percentage.

Did you mean the battery behaves normally, or it sometimes doesn't charge?

Why not turn off the battery percentage display in the Notification bar and try the GSam notification for a while.

It does seem a temporary issue.

There are others who would have better knowledge here, who may help.

I tried a battery percentage app, not that specific one though. It didn't work unfortunately. I'll try that app. The battery behaves completely normal, always charges. I'm hoping it's just a software thing and they will update soon! Very annoying not knowing how much battery I have left.
