Samsung S5 "Check your battery cover" Error. What should I do???

A

AC Question

Hi, I bought an S5 from the official Samsung website and two months later, I ran into a problem. I connected my phone to my friends laptop through the data cable and it said "Installing Driver Device Software" on her laptop.

Being kind of daft, my friend took the cable out before it had finished installing and then errors came up on my phone. "Check your battery cover" "check your battery cover" I don't know why this is happening because normally, the message only appears once I reboot my phone. I tried a factory reset and it seemed like the problem had gone away but a few minutes later, it kept appearing.

Now the message pops up ALL the time and it's becoming kind of impossible for me to use my phone. Please help...

This is very scary for me as it is my first phone and I don't want to wreck it :(

I really need help :(
