Samsung S5 isn't tracking my steps.

Up until today my samsung was doing great counting my steps, but today I went on walk at the park (my samsung was on because I was using it to text) but when I got back in the car, I realized it didn't count any of my steps because it said that I had walked 0 steps that day. Is there any way to fix this? I also can't rotate my phone for some reason while I'm playing games so I think that might be part of the same problem.

I would reboot the phone, and also open the S-Health app to make sure the pedometer is not paused. I had that issue once where I didn't know it had been paused.

I tried rebooting it and it wasn't paused but it's still not working.

The only other thing I can suggest is going to Samsung Store app and check to see if there is an update for S hHealth. You could also try clearing the cache from the application manager, force stopping it, then relaunching it and see if it works then. Beyond that, I don't know what else to tell you.

Exact same issue, after update from SHealth, pedometer stopped working and screen rotate stopped as well. can fix. Other apps that use rotation like google sky, compass and bubble level dont work either, wonder if it took out a sensor. Hate it when they update something that was working fine. hope someone has a fix

I'm having the same problem with my phone and I wish samsung would have a fix for this soon. my wife is not having any problems. what is up with that?
