Samsung S5 keep rebooting when not plugged

I think i damaged it stupidly by using an old iphone charger, now the phone keep rebooting after it display the "samsung galaxy S5" screen unless i plug it to the wall but even then it reboot randomly when i lunch the camera for exemple

i tried booting it in safe mode but the problem is still present
is there still hope ??

Are you able to get your hands on another battery? Do you have a friend that could loan you theirs for a short time to see? It is possible that the charger perhaps damaged the battery... fingers crossed because that's the cheap fix...

That kind of behavior usually happens with bad batteries or that are just about to die. Glad you can get your phone back in working order, though

Yep - now you can go and buy a new battery, charge it up and away you go.
