hello all,

Is it possible to play/store music for Samsung Galaxy S6 on USB stick and play it from there instead of storing songs in default folder called Music on phone itself. I have approximately 3.2GB of songs and they are taking up the space (phone itself is only 32GB and I have about 11GB of free space left). I can see the USB device when is connected to phone under Storage part in Settings. I connect USB stick using standard Micro plug.

Yup, it's possible, but it will also depend on the app you use if it can read off of it (most shouldn't have an issue). Your phone automatically scans media files regardless of location, so the stock app shouldn't have issues 'seeing' the files.

Sorry for the (very) late reply... I don't really know as I haven't used actual MP3 files in years, so my music player is Spotify, but a very popular option for local libraries is PowerAMP.
