Samsung S7 Edge wifi issues, any help?

Samsung S7 Edge wifi issue.

I have a Samsung S7 Edge. My issue is that only half the WiFi connection works. What I mean is that I can surf the Web but can't download apps or play Netflix. During the initial setup it shows that it can't connect. However, it is connected through the router (proven while talking to the router manufacturer). Does anyone know if this is a known issue with this phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or just your home one? If it's just home, then try rebooting the router by unplugging its power for 10 seconds, then plugging back in. Another thing to try is to log into the router's settings (check the router manual to learn how), and disable IPv6.
