Last night my phone was set to install an update. Woke up this morning to the phone turning on, showing "Installing system update" and getting to 26% then rebooting and doing the exact same cycle.

Holding Power & Volume Down just restarts the cycle.

Holding Power & Volume Down & Home brings me to "WARNING A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download custom OS press volume up. To cancel press volume down (restart)".

Holding Home & Volume Up then Power does nothing.

Welcome to Android Central! Holding Power and Vol Down should force a shutdown -- are you saying it shuts down, but then immediately restarts?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it plugged in when this happens? If so, what happens if you unplug it first?

You'll need to get into recovery by holding vloume up and power button same time before it resarts . Factory reset
