Samsung S8+ keyboard not working after Oreo Update

It keeps showing 'Open App Again' and then 'Close App'
Tried restarting the mobile a couple of times. Even did Force Stop.

Try wiping the cache partition. This shouldn't cause any data loss and is always a good idea after an update anyway.

Can you clear keyboard prefs? Or disable after adding another? I assume this was with Samsung and not G-board? So no way to uninstall.

Setting kept crashing in a loop during beta and only fix was factory reset.

Mine has done the same after the Oreo upgrade. Have tried clearing cache and hard reset, but still nothing. Anyone got a fix ?

When I went into my Samsung keyboard app I had noticed that the "apps on top" had changed and made it so my keyboard no longer had permission. I changed it on and it came back.
