Samsung S8 Plus Adverts popping up

Hi. I have a Samsung S8 Plus. I have recently started getting pop up ads over top of my apps when I unlock it. The ads also sound when I have the phone locked. Any idea on why and how to get rid of. Thank you.

I had that same thing, using Avast anti-virus free. There was a setting in the popup that allowed me to turn the lock screen ads off. Of note, though, I use the paid version on all my other devices and that may be why it allows turning it off. I'd suspect, then, that you might have installed something that behaves that way. A keyboard, icon pack, or?

This!!! My dad installed a flash light app on his phone. Kept getting adds. Once removed the adds went away.

I would avoid the company. They include Cleaner (once a respectable name), and AVG. Avast is a Czech Republic.
