Samsung S8 rear camera does not focus

I bought my s8 earlier this week, it is working fine and all but when I opened the camera app, it took a good 5 minutes for the rear camera to focus. The selfie camera is working fine. I read it might be a software problem but before I updated the software, the camera was already like that. Any one have any solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance

Make sure your camera lens is clean?

check the focus sensor to make sure it is clean and not blocked by the case if you have one on the phone.
