Samsung smart dock questions

Ok so this is my first post on this forum. So be gentle if I am asking a dumb question. I am wanting to hook up my s3 to the smart dock and the smart dock to my flat screen. I want to use the logitech k810 keyboard and the logitech t650 touchpad instead of a mouse to control it. Does anyone see any issues that I might run into with these components set up this way. Or is there another better option and set of components that I should look at? Thanks for the help in advance.

I believe that is what docks were intended for. Give it a try, it won't hurt anything.

Yeah I want to but I read somewhere online that the t650 would work with android, but I think that was just because android devices don't have usb ports but with The dock I will

Does the t650 have a micro usb?

No. It is wireless and the wireless connection point is a standard usb receiver. The thing that has me worried is that the t650 is marketed as windows 8 compatible.
