Anyone having issues with Samsung sync? I finally decided to start using the Samsung browser and was going to start manually adding bookmarks from chrome which I could then sync so my tablet would have the same ones. Hasn't synced for over 5 days for some reason. Just curious if it's on their end or mine.

I added a lot of bookmarks to Samsung manually - couldn't figure out how to import them. Love the Samsung browser as I can use my fingerprint in a bunch of places now.

I couldn't find a way to import bookmarks from Chrome either so are just adding them as I go along, bit of a pain with saved passwords but nothing major.

Thanks for the replies but is your Samsung Sync working (since that's what this thread is really about)? Settings>Accounts>Samsung Account>tap on your email address

I just checked again and mine still says there is an error. Just trying to figure out if the issue is on my end or Samsung's (if others are having the same error, it's most likely Samsung).

To sync with chrome bookmarks you have to start the process of your pc. Running chrome, you have to add the Samsung internet browser extension. Then, as long as your Samsung sync is on, your bookmarks should appear on your phone

Apparently, I didn't make my OP very clear AT ALL. The title of the thread is about Samsung sync issues. All I want to know is if anyone else is having issues with Samsung Sync. There never was a question about syncing Chrome with the Samsung browser since I stated that I was going to manually put them in. My issue is with the screenshot I posted. Maybe nobody else can see it?

I do see a problem with the backup for Samsung Internet.

They do show up in Chrome on desktop. Taken a lot of work to setup and don't ever want to lose those again. Shame that uninstalling and app takes all the preferences settings and AppData with it.

I installed Internet Beta. It pulled in my Chrome bookmarks. But it too later failed to sync.

Thanks for the info, Gayle. Looks like Samsung is having issues. Mine hasn't synced since the 4th and if this is a pattern with them, I'll not be using the Samsung browser since my main reason for using Chrome is sync across all my devices. I've used Chrome for years and it does the sync thing absolutely flawlessly.

If you are still having sync problems, using the "power saving mod" setting "mid", will affect the sync function. It happens that way on my note 8,using Verizon. Another factor, my sync setting, shows sync to Samsung account, via Gmail Google drive. That seems different than Samsung cloud. I think that is a larger factor. I think changing to Samsung cloud is the answer, now how to do it??

I get the back up error frequently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it takes forever and I just give up and make sure everything is backed up to Google.

I've always had my power saving set to mid but that wasn't the problem and hasn't caused any issues syncing for me.

I got it working and it was a setting somewhere but forgot what setting it was and obviously forgot to post here what the fix was. Oh, it was a service I had disabled using BK Package Disabler but I can't remember which one it was.
