Hi,
I've noticed a few anomalies on my (1 month old) Tab 2 7.0, P3113.
1) Although every website it check up says the Tab 2 has a proximity sensor, every app can not detect it. Why is this?
2) The app Elixir reports a screen resolution of 976x600, not 1024x600 as advertised. Can anyone prove this wrong? Otherwise I feel absolutely conned and I think I deserve a refund. The resolution is already too low as is.
3) Optimization: I seem to hit 100% CPU load very easily. Any optimization tweaks? System apps I can disable? Overclocking?
4) I fear that this doesn't exist, but is there a Tab 2 case that:
1) Is a folio
2) Flap is secured magnetically
3) Does NOT have exposed corners (I lost my Nexus 7 this way)
Like this without exposed corners:
CaseCrown Bold Trifold Case (Blue) for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
5) Can I use the magnetometer with a magnetic case to turn the screen on and off automatically? Or do it with the light sensor? Every auto screen on/off seems to use the proximity sensor, which the oddly doesn't seem to exist in the Tab 2.
Thank you kindly.
