Samsung Tab A 10.1 sudden screen flash

Hello, I have a Samsung Tab A 10.1.

About every half an hour (sometimes less), on the upper left side of the screen a sudden flash occurs. It takes about the quarter of the screen and last for less than a second. It is really bothering. I tried to know which app causes that but I'm pretty sure it happens no matter what app is running.

Do you guys know what could it be? Has this happened to anyone?

The tablet is 3 weeks old and this sudden flash exists since day 1.

Should I bother or should I just exchange it for another from amazon?

Welcome to Android Central! Does it also happen in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28317. If so, then I'd contact Amazon for a replacement. If it doesn't happen, then some app you installed is likely the cause -- you'd have to uninstall apps one by one until it goes away.
