samsung tab goes into bootloop does not start

ever since I tried to change its android os by upgrading its rom. it does not start just boot loop and then after draining battery stops. I tried many things as posted in forums but to no avail. may be I am not doing them right way as I am new in this.

urgent help needed to get out of this and make it functional.

What tablet do you have? I would guess you have tried to flash an incompatible ROM.
