Samsung Tab S 8.4 LTE

I have got a Tab S 8.4" LTE Italian version.
I want try another android version because now is very slow.
Is it possibile to install a new alternative firmware?

Most Samsung LTE version have locked bootloader, you won't be able to flash firmware from other providers.
Wifi models are different, bootloader is not locked, you can flash firmware from any region.

All Samsung tablets have the same hardwares, only firmware and software are customized for certain region.
An Italian tablet has no differences in hardwares when compared to a one sold in US.
