Samsung tab s2 black bars in YouTube and netflix

Is there any way to get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen when watching YouTube or netflix on the Samsung galaxy tab s2 8 inch?

I did that but nothing happened

I checked YouTube on my devices -- it doesn't look like there's a way to zoom in beyond the greatest dimensions of the image. Since most videos are in 16:9 format, you'll always see that letterboxing on a 4:3 screen.
