Hi everyone, I need help fixing my Samsung Tab S6 Lite. When I boot it up, it gets stuck on the Android logo. I can't force it to turn off, only force restart it. I can't open recovery mode, too, as holding power + volume up does nothing, and I can't connect it to my computer I think because my tablet doesn't know that it's plugged in. Does anyone have any help? I don't want to send my tablet to a repair shop or factory reset it (not that I even can) right now.

Plug in something dumb like a (USB-C) mouse or earbuds. Older devices often needed something like a "device" to trip it. Don't know why. Could try a thumb drive if you have one.

Just to make sure, will an Xbox One controller work? I think my tablet's out of battery right now, since it glitches and turns off when I unplug it. I'll have to try it later.

It should. I haven't had a 6 or 7 series Samsung in a long time.
Samsung is also finicky with charging. A lot of times my new devices (probably affected old ones too) would not take an initial charge from 0% from Anker and other 3rd party chargers. Had to be a low Wattage/Amp official Samsung charger (PPS, most legit Samsung ones should be PPS).

Edit: oh, you can use your phone as the bridge if the controller doesn't work.

I've been using a non-Samsung charger with it for years, and it's charged just fine. It's probably because I left it plugged into my computer for a while, which didn't connect, of course.

Ok, so I've figured out that the tablet only turns on when I plug it into a power source. This means I can't turn it on while plugged into another device. I can't seem to use a device as both a power source and something to activate recovery mode at the same time. Now what?

Are you able to fully charge it before connecting it to a USB port on your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable and a different USB port on your PC?

I left it charging overnight and have tried multiple different cables and ports.

Aaaaand somehow the battery's still low, as when I tried to get my tablet into recovery mode again, it turned off when I unplugged it.
