Hello. So just my luck. The same day I received my Note, I discovered a nice scratch on my iPhone's screen. It's more of a microscratch and in some lighting you can't see it. But in other lighting, it's definitely there. Since it's technically not a "crack", do I have anything to worry about when sending it in?

If that's the option when you chose the trade program via Samsung web site. It should be acceptable.

I don't recall reading anything about scratches on the screen. But only Samsung decides what is acceptable. So you may just have to take a chance. Just keep on top of it. If they reject the trade in, just cancel the order if that's necessary to you.

That's what I'm thinking too. If they try to say anything, I'll point to their T&C that says nothing about microscratches on the screen. I'll also contest the charge with my bank if they try to charge me lol.

scratches are considered normal wear and tear. you may not get the full amount of the credit but it does satisfies their T&C

I had a pretty deep scratch on my S10+ screen, more of a gauge, really. It wasn't a crack though. And I also had a definite crack on the camera glass on the back. And Samsung accepted my phone for the full credit.

Awesome! Thanks for posting that. Eases my mind

To be honest, I am a little shocked they accepted it, but they did. Yours isn't nearly as bad as mine. My scratch was pretty deep on the front and I am thinking they missed the crack on the back because it was a half moon crack and quite visible which makes me think they didn't even look. Good luck!

Lol that is surprising! Because my scratch depends on lighting, I'm also going to take pics without the scratch visible. Sounds a bit shady but it could be a good argument that I sent the phone back in good condition.

No they definitely seen it, but if you notice they don't ask you questions about the back. Would be hard for them to reject for something that they never asked you to acknowledge.

It's in the restrictions that there are no cracks on the glass on front or back though.

The FAQ page says:
c) Your device must have no breaks, cracks, or other defects that go beyond normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:
• Multiple scratches, dents, or dings;
• Water damage; or;
• Corroded charging port, SIM, or battery terminal contacts.

I am not quite sure what to do since I have two scratches, but no cracks or other damage.
