It would be a smart marketing move to have the phones pushed out before the next holiday. It'd have folks doing free promo for this by using their devices. That would be what I'd do as a business person.

I just don't think they'll wait because iPhone is is coming out too and I think they want to beat them to the punch hoping Apple users will jump ship and go to the Note 8, that would be really sweet wouldn't it?

Well there is the other side of this to consider as well:

1) Samsung is now bringing is a sizable amount more than Apple in earnings this past quarter.
2) The iPhone seems to be stumbling over itself and getting more (rumored) pushbacks than any phone I've seen.
3) They rushed the phone last time to beat Apple to the punch, and....

All that to say, I could also see them waiting a sec to release after pre-order. I don't want that to be, but just wanted to present that expectation as well.

I've seen(not literally) it happen before at these unpack events, they have given some of their phones away to test in the field, to show off so maybe some of those 50 are getting one. It's just a guess but a thousand things are stirring in this mind of mine didn't now and waiting is is driving me crazy. I'd just like to know the price and what the down payment will be. The sad part is that I'm going to have to let my S8+ go back plus some cash in order to use a jump to get the Note 8 as I have had to do in the past but I've never been this excited about a phone in a long time!
