Samsung Upgrade Question

I have a S6 Edge and thought I wanted a S8+ but have waited so long I might as well wait for the S9.

Just trying to figure out costwise if I should trade in and get a S8+ for few months and then upgrade to the S9? Or should I wait?

Just afraid my S6 Edge will get zero $ trade in if I wait until the S9 comes out.

I also need to know about the Samsung Annual Upgrade Program.

You might as well if you're in the states go to best buy on black friday... they have the galaxy's 300 off at that time.
