Samsung Voice Recorder records automatically

Hi, I noticed a very weird error on my S10e. The pre-installed Voice Recorder app randomly starts running and recording. Every now and then I pick up my phone and I see the widget on my Always On Display. I also checked and there's a Voice Recordings folder full with recordings of random length. Some are 20 seconds, others are 3 hours.

I already uninstalled/deactivated the app and restarted it. I made sure that the app icon isn't anywhere on the home screen. But it records stuff anyways.

Has anyone else ever had such a behaviour? Am I being spied upon?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the S10e forum since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.
@mustang7757, any ideas?

I have voice recorder from Samsung , haven't noticed anything , could reset the app by clearing data/cache and force stop it

Is it possible to put a toggle for it in the Quick Settings, or on the Edge Screen? If so, maybe either of those are being opened up while the phone is in a pocket due to accidental touches, and then it's being tapped accidentally to start a recording.

I've never seen this behavior unless I accidentally hit it.
Try disabling it. If you get recordings then in that state you have bigger issues.

I know this is a long time ago now, but came across this thread as I had the same issue. The problem for me was with voice recorder being a lock screen widget. So settings/lockscreen/widgets and disable voice recorder.
