Samsung VR/SD card promo back open until 10/17

So apparantly samsung has extended the vr/sd card promo for the S7 devices. I already got the sd card and gear fit 2 from the first promo, the vr from this promo with my 2nd replacement note and now just submitted for another vr for my edge. Latest purchase date they will take is 10/9 fyi

10/9 was the original date, and you had to submit by 10/31, not sure what u talking bout

The original submissions had stopped. You never had til the 31st. Not sure where you are getting that.

just tried using my note 7 receipt from 3rd which i used to claim a promotion already. I just put in my s7 edge info I got on the 10th. hope it works..

The promo is still open as you can still submit for the offer as long as you have a receipt that predates the Oct 9th cutoff.

That doesn't mean the promotion is still open just that the submission is still available.

Really? This is symantics. If you can still submit a claim it is open. I have used the same receipt for two different promos and both were approved. They are really checking the imei numbers. Either way, they stopped allowing submissions, you can easily go look in the promo card thread and see that . They opened it back up for a few more days. Just wanted to let people who may not be aware know, as you see above someone has already taken advantage. What is the issue?

Because the title of your thread says the promo is back open and that is not the case. The window for purchase was always until 10/9 and the submission window was always 10/17. It's not back open. It's the same as it always has been.

They are, I called and talked to a promo rep and they said that within the next 2 weeks look for an email, we will be able to get the promo.

i got approved from using my note 7 receipt from the 10/3.. So if you got old note 7 receipt try using that..doesn't matter if you used receipt already.. worked for me

Well I used my exchange receipt from my note7 recall again and used the imei from my new edge and was approved for another vr headset. 2 VR Sets, 1 256gb sd card, 1 gear fit 2 off of 2 notes, edge loaner and edge of swappa. Plus the Samsung rewards bonuses from all for devices $50. Not bad.

Similar situation to mine, except I got a $250 gift card from Best Buy for my final device the Note 5, rather than the second headset. In the end I got a ton of stuff and the same device (Note 5) that I was very happy with before the Note 7 fiasco. In a lot of ways the Note 5 is supirior to the N7. In enough ways that I can be pleased with it for a year. Action memo, a actual keyboard with a working auto correct (My lord the N7 auto correct sucked!). No grace UI, but still have wifi calling, advanced messaging, likely Nougat at some point... seems maybe a tad less laggy, though that might be my impression more than reality...Not saying its a better device, just that is isn't in any real world way worse.

Yep got denied and submitted the replacement N7 receipt with the s7e info and got approved. So it works just use the receipt that in the promo window
