Has anyone heard anything about these new wireless power banks from Samsung? It's tough to find any info on them. They don't seem to be available and I'm having difficulty finding out when they're supposed to come out.

Wonder what the difference is? I just bought 2 of the one below. It was on slick deals and back-ordered for a month. They didn't have silver so I got the Rose Gold but I also had 6 dollars in points and the price was so good I got 2. They fast charge my 9 plus good I think even faster than my Anker one that wasn't USB Type C. I had to charge the battery pack itself with the old style cable. But if these charge faster I may want one of these.

Hard to believe that this thing is only $16. I'd expect a Samsung brand wireless power bank to be more like $100. This is a good enough deal to make me overlook the fact that it doesn't support fast wireless 2.0.

I got one of those too for the price. The difference is the new one I posted has the wireless QI charging capability, as well as wired. The one we got discounted is just wired. As Arunma said, I'd probably expect the new one to be closer to $100, which wouldn't be worth it.

Oh I didn't pay attention QI wow I bet it is expensive. I'm fine with the 2 I just got. I had an Anker one but it wasn't USB C so I'm giving it to my friend for her S7.
