Does anyone have the Samsung Z Fold 6? Do
You like? Are you coming from an iPhone?

I just bought the Google Pro 9 Fold and just returned it as I spent the last 48 hours trying to transfer data. It would not bring over picture Tex messages to the new phone from iPhone. That is very important bc I use the phone for work and have customers that send pics via text that I need on my phone in text messages.

I'm surprised the connected cable from iPhone to Android didn't transfer over all the messages fully , I would think iOS finding an app that backs up all messages to cross platform can help. If you go with Samsung they have Smart Switch on iOS and you restore on Android with Smart Switch. I use Backup and Restore on Android for full restore on my different Android phones but I don't see them doing iOS

It’s so frustrating, spend all this money and wasted 2 days and still have no solution. Appreciate your responses. I guess this is why most people don’t switch to android from apple

Upon setup connecting the cable to each phone like recommended upon setup. Also chatted with google expert and also went into a T-Mobile store. No one had the solution

Which is crazy nobody helped.

Supposed to work with most photo and vids on messages

Samsung has a better utility manager built in to go from iOS to Android then what you were referring to in your other thread from iOS to goggle pixel

Do you have a Samsung Z fold 6? Is it worth switching from iPhone. I love technology but just need to be able to use for my business the same as iPhone with text and text pics to iPhone customers

Yes I do , love it and a better device for business, use my s24u also for that .
I do have a pixel 9 pro XL and iPhone 16 pro max coming to replace my 15 pro , I prefer Android but still like my iPhones.

Yeah I use both platforms, I'm sure some members here that gave switched can chime in .

With every new device there are reviewers who say they are or have switched from one to the other, but I would say check out YouTube reviews at least to get an idea of the differences, pros and cons.

A quick search shows 4 videos with this exact subject in the past month.
