I saw this story over at techcrunch but apparently SamsungMobile has created an open dialogue between itself and fascinate owners over at XDA. Thought some the AC forum members here might appreciate it. My apologies to AC for posting a link to another forum.

Let's start this over... - xda-developers

I don't think the link is a problem. Lots of links to xda threads in these forums. Thanks for the info.

I find it really sad that people can not approach things in a mature way... everyone was super counter productive. more flies with honey and all that ya know

Don't worry about posting a link to XDA. The only time we ask that not be done is when we have that content right here on our own forums. ;)

I agree with Danny on this one. I think it shows that Samsung has a clear concern for Fascinate/Galaxy S owners and wants our feedback. The fact that people can't provide it in a mature and respectable way is shameful.

I agree Chris, I didn't even bother with trying to ask a question or post a comment because most of the users there where slinging poo everywhere!? :/ I get frustrated just like everybody else but atleast Samsung is/was making an attempt to actually communicate with us one on one...

<--- Thanks AC for being a level-headed, open minded, mature place to read about phone stuff :) --- XDA is a mess.

yeah, xda turns into a cluster really fast with people acting like a bunch of whiny children. If I were a developer, I'd avoid the place.

Thus the reason that I am sceptical about it even being real.
There is NO good way to get valuable information from thousands of whiners. Not saying there isn't good info there. There is a lot of good info there. But it will be buried in the noise.
