Samsung's Gallery and Music app issues

So occasionally the gallery will display no pictures (says no albums) or music player will show the media but wont play it (says file not supported).

Think it has to do with the process.android.media has stopped error. But its weird since other apps will work (ie. Poweramp plays the files)

Anyone got any ideas what causes it or a fix?

I would still wonder if the SD card is part of the problem. A failing or corrupt card can cause issues like this. See what happens if you unmount and remove the SD card, and just use Internal Storage for a while.

So i think i found the problem. Its the Samsung Music app.

Safe Mode. No issues.
Uninstalled the app. No issues.
Reinstalled the app. Issues are back.
Uninstalled the app. No issues.

Bug in the app maybe...

Not anymore. Think it stopped during the S7 gen.

And still having issues.

ll try the no sd card. See how that does.

Latest update: no sd...still issues.

Even did a factory restore...still issues.

Went in today to get a warrenty exchange. Figured with this issue and the wireless charging issue.

Im sure i could of. Poweramp was working fine. Just Samsung's apps wasn't working.

Update with the new phone. A week later.

No issues. Granted I started from scratch so to speak, didnt use Smart Switch at all (something I didnt try last time when I tried factory reset).

Exported/Imported any data I need. Installed only the apps I actually use often.

And wireless charging has no issues too now.
