Samsungs trade in policy

I should be getting my Note 10+ tomorrow. Does anyone know how strict Samsung is with their trade in deadline. Because of unforeseen circumstances (leaving town), I won't be able to shi pit out till literally the 15th day. (Receive phone on 23rd, send out sept 6th).

Do you know if I will have an issue? I imagine they give a few days here or there at minimum?
 
call samsung. usually they have at least 10-15 days. but if you went out the deadline, you'll probably be charged by the discount provided to you. So ask them if you can extend the deadline.

I did a chat with them and the person said to just contact them on that 15th day and they could extend it.

But I don't have full confidence that the person was reading actual policy versus just saying what he thinks (Even though I did try to confirm). The other thing I realized is the chat wasn't tied to my account or some case number or anything. So I have zero way to even refer to what I was told.
