i preordered and my phone is on the truck to be delivered, but i called and asked if they would credit my account with the $90 and after a lengthy pause for her to find and verify the promo she did credit my account the $90.....i pushed my luck and asked for a waiver for the activation fee and she credited that also!! hooray, patience, persistence, and being pleasant about it paid off!!

I rejected my delivery (because I wouldn't be home and it would come tomorrow) and ordered online for a instore pickup with this coupon code and it all worked out very well. Phone is ready to pickup and I will be getting it this evening :)

Verizon's CS agents are steadfastly refusing to honor the promo for me. What are you all saying to them?

@tempra I can't get anyone to match the offer either. In fact, I just called the store and they said they wouldn't match it in store for me. Even with the $35.00 restocking fee... I may have to return and order online.

i called and said, "hey, i preordered the note 3 online on sept 6.....and now there is a verizon30 online code that is saving people 30% or $90. i wanted to ask if you could credit my account the discount since i did order online." the csr asked a few questions like where did i find the code, etc, i told her that if she googles verizon30 its all over the internet. at that point i think she did a dummy order herself using the upgrade price and the code and was like, hey you're right its a $90 discount. she credited my account!

You are lucky my CSR rep was clueless and wouldn't help, the one time I didn't get an annoying call back with a survey followup. I had to goto my local store and get the $90 credit. Used it towards my GG.

I paid full price for my Note 3 and after 45 minutes and about seven representatives, I finally got a hold of one who only credited me $90. At least it was something.

First person told me it wasn't a Verizon promo, that it was a vendor promo. What hooey. Goes to show no one really knows.

BTW, Verizon had the S-view case in black in stock, so I was able to order it online. At 25% off, no less.
