Geek squad had to send my computer in for repair last week. Wow I have the note 9 and can honestly say I didn't miss it!. This thing rocks.

No just the phone did everything however going to try DeX next. Sounds like a win win situation.

With Note 9 - and I used DeX with the 8 - you are free to use other USB-C docks, HDMI, couple USB ports, BT mouse and keyboard.

Though DeX Dock is cheaper now than it was last year, it may work better.

only went a week without my computer, however the
9 took on most of my daily functions. The DeX thing seems like something to try down the road.

Something else I wanted to say is that after I get the knowledge and understand the Samsung buzz this might be my best ever phone purchase. I don't even miss my drawer full of moto mods and I loved the Z2force and the rest of my moto phones.

I've tried other phones in the past, and say what you want about Samsung, but I keep coming back to their phones. 'Barebones' Android is just not my thing.

These things are basically portable computers so it's not surprising you didn't miss your computer

I do not own a desktop anymore.

In fact I only really use a macbook air for moving music to my phone.

Rarely use a tablet now too !
