Saving Greeting on Visual Voicemail

Ok, been flashing ROMs like crazy since I got the Hero a few weeks ago. For right now I'm using Honebun 2.0 and like it so far.

Anyway, to the point. Whenever I flash a new ROM I have to set up my voicemail greeting and what not fresh every time. Is there not a way to save that so that I don't have to do that every time? Seems kinda crazy that those settings are somehow connected to the ROM.....

switch your voicemail to google voice. I works about the same as the stock visual voicemail app and you just have to record it once. It also gives you other great features like saving all your messages online.
