Saving pics from the internet

Hi. Im totally new to the Android family and the Nexus is my new friend. Im just learning how to save pics from the internet, like FB.....but here's the problem: When I click on a pic, the only options are to save as a contact pic or as a current wallpaper. I cant find the pics later....I want them saved to my gallery separate from the regular pics that I take w/my phone camera.

Sister told me to "share" using Picasa, but that doesnt work. It just asks for my google acct sign in then tells me im already signed in and takes me back out. HELP! I dont know what to do.
