Saving pictures from hangouts

On my nexus devices (7 and 10) I click the picture, then click the settings button on the screen in the upper right corner. It brings up an option to save, doing so saves the image to the download folder and gives a littler message that says image downloaded.

On my S4 GPE I click the picture, press the menu hardware button select save but then nothing happens.

Anyone else notice this?

I don't have that phone but if I ever run into a problem downloading a picture, I just do a screenshot and edit it later.

I saw this on my Bionic. The workaround for that device was to tap the image (presumably to give it focus?) and then the save function would actually save the image. If I didn;t tap the image first, the save function did nothing.
