How do I save pictures automatically to my SD card when taking pictures with stock camera or any other third party camera?

Should be option in camera settings to change location of where pictures taken are stored. Mines are stored on the SD. So yes there is a way.

Install an sd card open camera app and it sees your card as long as it's formatted correctly and asks you if you want to save to sd just click yes and you are done

It was easy. I had an SD card in the phone. The first time I opened the camera it popped up a message "I see you have an SD Card Installed. Would you like to save your pictures there?" I clicked OK. Done.

Found the third party option to save to the SD card but not the stock camera

Open camera, settings, then scroll the options, just flick the boxes, I scrolls and the options are there. Just did this today.

Yes you can. It's in camera settings.

Also, as soon as you pop in a SD card, it gives you the prompt asking if you want to switch storage to the SD card

Using burst mode saves to internal memory though to prevent any hiccups

I didn't say you can't. It just a bad habit because of the nature of SD card memory volatility.
