Having some problems with Sbfing...yes I did watch the videos...yes i did read everything I could over at my droid world....So I have downloaded, Rsdlite, both 4.9 and 4.8 to try both...have downloaded every possible option of .340 file I can find...so here is my problem when I attempt to SBF

Plug phone in...find the file...push start...it immediately says failed.

or

Plug phone in...find the file...and it won't let me push start, start button is just grayed out...

Any ideas?

You didn't mention how you are booting the phone when connected to your computer.

Plug your phone into your computer. Power off the phone. Open RSD and select the SBF file.

On the phone, hold the volume down, camera and home buttons while pressing the power button. It should boot into a screen that tells you that you are ready to load software by USB.

Make sure the phone drivers are installed (Try using PDAnet as drivers). Make sure you're going direct into the USB port and not going through a USB hub. Try keeping the sbf file on either your desktop or on the base folder of your C:\ (not buried in C:\Users\Program Files\etc\etc\etc\etc).

Just a few ideas.

Also, try it from a different computer.

......also are you using windows OS,, or a mac computer

Running windows 7, but also have a mac if someone has a work around that way. I have added every driver, I know how to put into bootloader mode, so no issue there, not using a USB hub, so no issue there. Someone mentioned I might need to try running it as an admin, haven't figured out how to do that...

Also should have said, I have downloaded all the latest drives, and tried every order you can think of to open everything, phone plugged in--rds--file or rds-file-phone, etc
